| is now missing around the house, as usual... |

My mom's uncle gave him as a gift to me when i was 7. Back then, he was about 3.5 inches long (Straight Carapace Length) and was waddling clumsily in his small glass tank. I was too young to understand how to care for him and everyone was ignorant about basking properties, feeding and feeding schedule, even the risks of salmonella so he is one tough cookie to have survived years of mishandling. I'd also have to thank my dad and some of my uncles who's always been caring for him. 13 years after, he is still roaming around the house but mostly stays in his laundry sink at the back of the house. He's a fire survivor, had been lost in our village at least twice when somebody left the gate open and has a knack for biting papa's fingers occasionally. I've had depressing times with him including some crying, and ranting and screaming at my part so he's really special. With his soulful eyes and a seemingly understanding silence, Im very thankful to have been his owner.
